What happened
Anthropic connected Claude to 28 security and compliance platforms in late May 2026. The links run through its Claude Compliance API. Named partners include CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, Okta, and Zscaler.
The move puts Claude inside the tools that security teams already use to watch for threats, manage access, and meet compliance rules.
Why it matters
Security is one of the hardest areas to add AI, because the work is sensitive and tightly controlled. By plugging into trusted platforms, Anthropic lets teams use Claude without leaving their existing systems. That lowers the barrier to adoption.
The deal also fits a wider trend. AI labs are moving from general chat into specific, high value enterprise jobs like security and compliance.
MintedBrain take
For security teams, the value is keeping AI inside known, governed tools. That helps with audits and control. As with any AI in security, the key is clear limits on what the model can see and do, plus human review of important actions.
