What changed

Google announced on October 19, 2026 that interactive apps made in Gemini can export directly to Google Sites. Export > Google Sites opens a new, private draft for editing and later publication. Export itself does not publish the site.

Who can use it

Google lists availability on web, Android and iOS for Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers and personal accounts with Gemini access. Workspace users also need Sites enabled and permission to create and edit sites. Existing Sites and Drive policies apply.

MintedBrain take

This could simplify sharing a classroom demonstration or small prototype. Before publishing, test inputs, check mobile layouts and review sharing settings. A convenient export does not establish that an app is reliable or ready for client work. MintedBrain has not independently tested this integration.
