What happened

AWS and NVIDIA expanded their strategic collaboration in March 2026. Starting in 2026, AWS will add more than 1 million NVIDIA GPUs across global cloud regions. The deployment includes NVIDIA Blackwell and Rubin GPU architectures. AWS will also offer fine tuning of NVIDIA Nemotron models directly on Amazon Bedrock using Reinforcement Fine-Tuning.

Why it matters

The deal commits AWS to a major expansion of NVIDIA-based AI infrastructure. It positions AWS as one of the largest hosts for NVIDIA-based AI workloads. The Bedrock integration also gives developers a managed path to customize Nemotron models without standing up their own training stack.

MintedBrain take

For enterprise AI buyers, this is mainly a supply story. More GPU capacity at AWS means less waiting for training and inference compute. It also signals that the major clouds are competing on raw scale, not just on services.
