Notion's built-in AI can draft, summarize, and answer questions—all inside your workspace.

Where to find it

Select text and click the sparkle icon, or type /ai in a block. Notion AI appears in the command palette too.

Writing tasks

• "Continue writing" – Expands from your cursor. Great for first drafts.
• "Fix spelling and grammar" – Quick polish
• "Change tone" – Make it formal, casual, or concise
• "Simplify" – Reduce jargon for a broader audience

Summarization

Paste a long article or doc. Select it, then "Summarize." Notion extracts key points. Use for meeting notes, research, or quick briefs.

Q&A over your docs

Notion's AI can answer questions using your workspace as context. "What did we decide about the Q3 roadmap?" It searches your pages and cites sources.

Tips

• Be specific: "Write a 3-sentence summary" beats "summarize"
• Use for structure: "Turn these bullets into a blog outline"
• Combine with databases: AI can fill or update properties
