NVIDIA GTC 2026 Set for March 16–19 as Jensen Huang Teases Mystery Chip Reveal
NVIDIA's annual GPU Technology Conference (GTC) will take place March 16–19 at SAP Center in San Jose, California. More than 30,000 attendees from over 190 countries are expected, spanning developers, researchers, business leaders, and AI-native companies.
Jensen Huang will deliver the keynote on Monday, March 16 at 11 a.m. PT. In previews leading up to the event, Huang has promised that NVIDIA will reveal "a chip that will surprise the world" — fueling significant speculation about what hardware the company might announce beyond the already-known Vera Rubin architecture.
What to Expect
The keynote is expected to cover NVIDIA's strategy across its full AI stack, including:
- Accelerated compute and next-generation data center hardware
- AI factories and enterprise deployment infrastructure
- Open model initiatives and the NVIDIA NIM platform
- Agentic AI systems and multi-agent frameworks
- Physical AI and robotics
NVIDIA's GTC has become one of the most closely watched events in the technology industry. The conference comes as the company recently invested $2 billion in Amsterdam-based Nebius and backed Mira Murati's Thinking Machines Lab with a gigawatt-scale chip deal, signaling its intent to shape the full landscape of AI infrastructure and model development. The keynote will be livestreamed free at nvidia.com.
